Dean Nakagawa brings two decades of corporate strategy, risk management, and real estate experience to his role as Managing Director of Diamond Realty Investment’s Data Center Division.

Dean previously served as the Executive Assistant to the Chairman of the Board of Mitsubishi Corporation (MC). In this role, Dean coordinated overall decision-making of the Chairman by breaking down the points of Corporate Strategy, Risk Management, and the Global Investment Portfolio of Mitsubishi Corporation. Dean also generated new business between the Digital Sector and others (i.e. power, energy, and consumer businesses) covered by overall Mitsubishi Corporation groups.

Prior to working with the Chairman of the Board, Dean led the expansion of Vietnam real estate investments at Mitsubishi Corporation Vietnam, establishing the strategic partnership with “Vinhomes” which is the No.1 developer in Vietnam. Dean’s leadership led Mitsubishi Corporation to successfully procure $1 billion in equity for three large scale township projects in Hanoi and Ho-Chi-Minh city.

Dean earned a B.A. in Urban Engineering from the University of Tokyo and an M.B.A. from the University of Navarra in Barcelona, Spain.
