Matt Auste brings more than a decade of commercial real estate experience to Diamond Realty Investments, Inc., where he serves as Vice President of Asset Management. In this role, Matt oversees the management and operations of the multifamily, student housing and senior living portfolios. He also plays a crucial role in industrial, office, and mixed-use projects, managing construction, leasing, disposition processes, and fostering relationships with development partners.

Prior to joining Diamond Realty, Matt held a key position at a boutique Dallas-based real estate private equity firm, where he led asset management for a multifamily portfolio spanning over 10,000 units across Texas. Previously, Matt was at PGIM Real Estate, where he oversaw the buildout of the asset management platform for an inaugural domestic high yield portfolio worth over $4 billion in Assets Under Management across all major property types throughout the U.S. His career also includes roles at Bank OZK, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America Merrill Lynch and RBC Capital Markets.

Matt began his career in New York at RBC Capital Markets, specializing in public and privately issued Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities, Asset-Backed Securities, Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities, and Asset-Backed Commercial Paper conduit transactions in the U.S., Canada, and Europe.

Matt received both his B.B.A. in Finance and M.B.A. from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.
