Summer Trejo is the General Counsel for Diamond Realty Investments, Inc., responsible for overseeing the legal functions of the organization. Summer brings over 20 years of experience practicing in the areas of real estate, finance, compliance, and private equity.

Prior to joining Diamond Realty Investments, Summer served as an attorney for Hudson Advisors L.P., which is the investment adviser to the Lone Star Funds. During her 15-year tenure with Hudson Advisors, Summer served in a variety of capacities including Senior Vice President, Senior Counsel with a focus on U.S. commercial real estate transactions, fund and corporate level financing matters, and regulatory compliance operations globally. Prior to joining Hudson Advisors, Summer was a Senior Associate with Vinson & Elkins LLP, where she advised on various real estate and financing transactions. Summer began her career as a Briefing Attorney for the Honorable Wallace Jefferson on the Supreme Court of Texas.

Summer holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Texas A&M University and a Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law.
